went "Lerk Thai" at marina for dinner with the girls, which apparently food was pretty nice at very affordable price.

yes, i noe. kamikaze... but i was told by a doctor that eating spicy stuff when ure having fever is good cuz it helps you to sweat the virus out... haha, i dunno if its true, but it seriously did appeal to me :)
had a pretty hard time trying to "bluff" the birthday girl to the surprise we planned for her : "surprise appearance of her beloved". i had to like convince the rest not to have dessert at some jap restaurant and go to esplanade instead. still come up with wat stupid lousy excuse of "espanade take photo nicer". haha
finally went and... "surprise!"
puay yee arranged with words and the stick "boy and girl" with plastic straw made stars. and the red paper thing on the left is $120 worth of ang pao and the right hand side paper bag is SK jewellery necklace. apparently he heard ting keep asking her mum for ang pao so he gave it to her instead.
and here's the love birds with his effort...
and us... all six reunited:)
despite the very sickly me... i kinda feel that its pretty much worth the risk in going out and having to eat all the killer food. i mean, wats worth the frenship man... 8 years of unity k...
side track: edwin msg-ed me late last nite to ask if im fine. for a moment i really tot he was back cuz he msg-ed me with his local number. content was concern, which i tot was quite sweet. thanx dude, really appreciate that.
expecting an overseas call from him on sun nite or mon nite i guess :)
