i bought a new camera even though my old camera, which have dutifully served me for a good 5 years, is still working. i just dumped $600 into this:

not that my previous camera is not working but im just attracted to 2 functions of the new old. the new cam is touch screen, have 1x more optical zoom, intelligent sweep panorama, 3.0 more megapixel, waterproof and higher ISO than the old one. honestly speaking, i definitely still love the old one much better:

i personally have a preference for the aesthetics of my old cam, its a non-touch screen cam, and of course because its been with me for so long and its still fully functional. it has never failed me any single time!

im not really for the touch screen or waterproof or higher megapixel (esp since i still put in to 3 megapix mode because i want to reduce the size of the photos). and its only 1x more optical zoom. but i still bought it :(

im beginning to regret the decision to buy it. not because the cam is not good. maybe because my old one is still working fine, and i dont like the feeling of it having to stay at home until it dies on its own. maybe i just need more time to like the new one..
