one of the days when i went out with one of my colleague (C)to conduct a recce for a meeting's venue, he told me, "i realise you are very quiet in the office". its quite shocking to him apparently, because...

C used to work in a different building (next to mine) due to spatial constraint, even though we work for the same branch. i often see him around in my office for a quick talk when he comes down, so he concluded that im quite a lively person.

however, due to practical reasons, they decided to move him down to my level for work efficiency and convenience. he's now seated within my vicinity, but found out that i spend most of my time facing my "walls" and laptop instead of talking to most of our neighbours.

actually i do, talk to my neighbours. in fact, very often. because of the nature of our work, we dont always see our neighbours at their seats even though we at around. once everyday, we will try to talk to each other about our current status, share fruits around, random talk about stupid things just to make our mood lighter and easier to pass the days. we encourage each other when any of us are rushing our usual reports, and the every 2 months rush of reviews.

i would say the work environment and culture is very good. because we encourage and work hard with each other, even though we also talk hard with each other. i like my work environment, i like my colleagues!!!
