there's lots of happy things that happened to me this week!

1. i bought a new pair specs! finally went down to getting myself a new pair of frameless specs after a damn long time of procrastinating. and the trigger was because i was feeling uncomfortable from the strain. i thought the short-sightedness was going to deteriorate, but apparently only the astig did. bad. spend $220, but im happy with the new one. finally something that was close to looking like what i had previously. *i still have the corpse of my previous frameless specs*

2. eureka production @ PSB went well. at least only the casting. i realise PSB got talent! even though i more or less tailor-made the script to the various people involved, but i really think they have talent in acting out the role in a very lively and realistic manner. good cast. i think my current team was good. im enjoying myself unlike most others.

3. im down for split team. 1 week of going to site office near my house is a damn good idea. time to clear all my admin stuff. lol. pros and cons la. wont know whether its good or bad until its here. im crossing my fingers.

4. im seeing my beloved more often than usual these 2 weeks. its a good thing even though im quite tired after work.

5. realise poh is such a great friend! i feel the friendness as compared to some people that i see so often. i think i need to meet up with all my different friends more to feel the friendness...

6. my placement to attend a forum is finally confirmed. im going to the long-awaited forum next week! to see one of my fav prof :)

i went for a medical checkup at my workplace today. and like normal medical checkups, there's a blood test component.

i was damn scared actually, wanted to back out when i was queuing for my turn. while the person was cleansing my hand with the antiseptic and trying to distract me from my anxiousness, she asked me if i was a donor.

quite surprised by her question, i asked her how she knew about it. she said she could recognise the needle punctures on my arm and the types of needles they used was different. that took me to a higher level of surprise because my last donation was back in 2005. shock shock horror horror. thank goodness she did say i was an addict. lol. but i realised, it really takes a master of the trade to pick the finest details out. she's really good.
