i know i haven been blogging. wasnt in the mood for blogging for a long long long time. too much backlog to do...

1. grandma's funeral
had problem trying to get to sleep for the entire week because my grandma used to sleep on the bed next to me when she was alive. different people in the family shared their different experience of my grandma coming back to visit them. am still scared of sleeping... being the last to switch of the lights... etc.

100 days of black, white, blue, green according to my mum's conservative idea of showing respect to the dead. officially landed the family, especially the children in a state of fashion crisis. i started to empty of wardrobe of all my favourite colours in order not to feel depress whenever i open the wardrobe. its a good time to share my clothes with my frens... can save their money on clothes too. i counted... last day lands on 3rd nov.

last week of internship happen to clash with my grandma's funeral. but i still went back to work on the 2nd and 3rd day. kinda felt that my boss didnt appreciate my effort of going back even though im was supposed to be on compassionate (unpaid) leave. am glad that its now all over and im going back to school!

2. 3rd anniversary
time really flies. 3rd year anniversary on sinyee's birthday... dats the day we got together. watched movie in the morning and 4 hours of tuition in the afternoon. poor him have to stay in my house alone with my crazy sisters till i came back. dinner at TM and i bought a new pair of running shoes!!!! spells the time to exercise again!!!!

3. batman twice
brother asked me out to watch batman with him on 27th july night. but i left him alone to finish the next 2 hours of the movie because my mum called to say grandma is gone. felt very bad all the while for ps-ing him out of no choice. watched the same movie... with him again yesterday night. thank god bro say he wanted to watch the movie again for some weird reason. i love bro! lol... now i feel not so guilty le...

4. museum day
went to visit the museum on mon with qh. super amazed by how the authorities managed to put in the whole of our history into the museum with 2 different pathways to choose from. finish about 1/6 of the journey. shall get it done by the next visit. thank goodness its free for us... if not i wun even be there. lol.

5. 2D1N Batam Trip with FS
it was supposed to be a FS holiday cum jessica's birthday celebration. But it turned out that only 4 of us went with 2 of the other halfs.

ferry was delayed for quite some time. time wasted on waiting and waiting... approached somebody to take a group photo for us.. and it turned out like this...

there's nothing wrong with this actually... just that its not what we're expecting of a group photo... the crowd behind -_-"

Checked into our resort at Nongsa Marina and quickly went out to fill our stomachs at the resort's restaurant. quite ex... but still affordable...

went on with the water sports... not exactly, just the banana boat because zhenhui insisted that she MUST take the banana boat. she wanted the jet ski too... but its S$100/hr. so she gave up her idea.


if you know me... i cant swim. and im scared of falling into the sea. So...

i took the ride on the speed boat! and of cuz.. im still afraid of falling into the water. So... PY gave me the rope to hold on to... and i held on to it for dear life.

We went for a swim in the pool until it started raining...

We wanted to take group photo in the pool. And so...
this is what happens when water resistance affect your ability to get into the pool without wetting the camera and getting to the right position in 10 secs self-timer mode.

now the second take is much better...

took a 45 mins bus ride to the capital for some random shopping. apparently things there aint anywhere cheaper than sing. so we ended up walking aimlessly most of the time. looked for some seafood place to eat our long awaited seafood feast.

not really a seafood feast.. just some of our favourite dishes. kk's fav sotong, zhenhui's fav sambal stingray, ting's fav 'gong gong' and my fav kangkong! yummy yummy!!!

more random walking to explore the place but there werent anything much for us to see bacause its pretty late already. headed back to the resort where the girls did alot of girls' talk in ZH's room.

Day 2 started off with breakfast in the resort and indonesia spa beside the beach :)

damn relaxing man! the only bad thing tat made all of us abit awkward is that we have to go almost all clothes off and there's nothing separating us. *i mean of cuz the guys aint in the same 'room' as us la!*
